Turn a photo into a 3D model with AI
Upload a photo and Pic2Mesh builds a 3D model you can rotate right in your browser. Download GLB, OBJ, STL or PLY, no 3D modelling skills needed.

How easy is it to make a 3D model from a photo?
Just one photo
No need to shoot many angles or scan in 3D. A single photo of an object is enough to start.
View 3D on the web
Rotate and zoom the model right in your browser, no software to install.
Several download formats
GLB, OBJ with MTL and textures, STL, PLY, or just the PNG/JPG texture images.
Vietnamese and English
Simple to use, with a photo guide and help choosing the right file format.
How it works
- 01
Upload a photo
Choose a PNG, JPG or WebP image of one object. A clean background and a sharp object give the best result.
- 02
AI builds the model
The system sends your photo to an AI model that builds the 3D shape, usually in a few dozen seconds.
- 03
View and download
Rotate and zoom the model in your browser, then download it to use in Blender, Unity and more.

What can you use a 3D model from a photo for?
Games and 3D graphics
Quickly make draft models, characters and props to bring into Blender or Unity and refine.
3D printing
Export STL to test ideas, toy models and figures before sending them to slicing software.
E-commerce
Create a 3D view of simple products for illustration or prototypes.
Learning and creativity
Turn drawings and photos of objects into models to explore, for homework or for demos.
3D file formats you can download
| Format | Contains | Use it for |
|---|---|---|
| GLB | Mesh, materials and textures in one file | Web viewing, Blender, game engines |
| OBJ + MTL | Mesh, UVs, materials and separate texture images | Importing into most 3D software |
| STL | Shape only, no color | 3D printing |
| PLY | Geometry with normals and UVs | Mesh processing, research |

Frequently asked questions
What is Pic2Mesh?
Pic2Mesh is a tool that creates a 3D model from a single 2D photo with AI. You upload an image, get a model you can rotate right in your browser, and download files to use in 3D software.
What kind of photo gives good results?
A photo with one main object that is sharp, well lit, on a simple background, with the whole object visible. Avoid transparent or very reflective objects. See the photo guide for details.
Which file formats do I get?
The model is previewed as GLB and you can also download OBJ (with MTL and textures), STL, PLY, or just the PNG/JPG texture images, depending on what the AI model returns.
Can I use the model in Blender or Unity?
Blender opens GLB, OBJ, STL and PLY directly. Unity reads OBJ directly, while GLB needs the glTFast package. AI-generated meshes usually need topology clean-up before being used in games or animation.
Can I 3D print it?
You can download an STL file and load it into slicing software. AI-generated models can have holes or may not be watertight, so check and repair the mesh before printing.
How long does it take to create a model?
Usually from a few dozen seconds to a minute or two, depending on system load and the complexity of the image.
Does Pic2Mesh cost anything?
You can try it for free a few times a day without signing in. After the free runs, sign in and use points: you earn points by watching ads or topping up, and the number of points each run costs is shown before you create. Failed runs are refunded. Top-ups currently support Vietnamese bank transfer only.
How long are my images and models kept?
They are tied to your browser or account (guests who clear their browser data will not be able to see them again) and are deleted automatically after a while (30 days by default) to save space. Download the files if you want to keep them longer. Only upload images you have the right to use.
